Swimsuits?

I haven't purchased a swimsuit for myself in ages. I'm needing one for vacation at the end of this month and I don't know where to look! I've gotten a few from Target before, but their selection can be hit or miss.

Any other suggestions of where I could go look?

I think I actually got mine from Walmart. I'm probably in the minority, but I can NOT spend $30 + on a bathing suit.

I think I saw some cute ones at Fasion Bug and JCPenney. Maybe try Burlington too.

  • I went to Kohls and got an $86 swimsuit for $50...Granted still more than I wanted to spend, but oh well. It's all black, one-piece, halter top and has a little "skirt" on it to hide my thighs. I think I'll actually be comfortable in it, though I am worried I'm going to fall out of it once I hit the water.

I dont go out in the water often enough to make it worth it to spend a lot of money on a swim suit. Being plus sized, a few years ago I bought one from Lane Bryant and it was the most uncomfortable thing ever. The material was either lined or too thick or both, and there were boob pads in there, like mine arent big enough, I need padding too. Last year I got a maternity suit from WalMart and it was so comfy. Bought a new non maternity one from there this year, although I havent been in the water yet. Normally I do not go swimming more than once or twice a summer, usually just going to a waterpark even for that. This year, I plan to take C to the waterpark a bunch of times, with or without DH, so I have to have a suit but still remember spending $100 on one I didnt like and so didnt want to fork over that much again.

  • I just went shopping for one the other day to take on vacation, found a black onepiece with a skirt for 32$ at walmart. It's not anything fancy but it's cute and it looks ok on and hides my post-baby flaws. Good luck, I know how stressful it can be to shop for a bathingsuit.
