Peeing with the door open

So, Cami starts to kick my bladder and I realize I have to pee pretty badly. I scuttle into the bathroom, start my decent to the toilet, and I look over at the open door and I see one eye, one ear, half a mouth and an arm..

Yes, it's DH, with a michevieous look on his face.  I ask him if he's seriously going to watch me pee and he says, "Very Seriously... ooooooooo!" And then runs off giggling like a little girl..

LOL, I just thought this was funny.. Who else pees with the door open?

    LOL he is hilarious... I close the door mostly but don't click it shut, because the dog inevitably starts scratching at it!

    DH and I both do.  We always have....although, I'd say, after 11 years together, there's not much that we don't do in front of each other.

    at home...all the time...the only person who shuts the door routinely is DH...we don't let my stepson shut the door yet cuz he wads up too much toilet paper and this way we can catch him a little easier...

    oh and our cat lets no one go into the bathroom alone, she must accompany, observe, and beg for a drink from the sink....

    You're just preparing yourself for when you have a clingy toddler in the house...I can't remember the last time I got to pee with the door closed! Moments of privacy seemed to have gone out the door...sigh.

    Ahhh, yes, Mr. Frankie Fiddlesticks the kitty came tromping in promptly after I spotted my one eyed bandit... hahahah

    Since I've been pg I have taken to pushing it shut but hardly ever closing all the way.

    We pee with the door closed...I'm a pretty private person.  It is funny though when my hubby opens the door with his eyes closed laughing b/c I freak out...

    I now poop with the door open half of the time, because DS is usually running around.  I have actually had to poop while reading a book to DS before.

    I've lost all modestly.

    In all fairness I pretty much live alone and when my roomie is here she is just as bad as I am.  I blame it on my parents.  Their door doesn't have hinges either. :)

    Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Sometimes I pee while he's brushing his teeth or taking a shower and visa versa. It's not a big deal to us but when it comes to wiping...then I want my privacy.

    I have no problem with it but of all things, DH is private!  He still LOCKS the door sometimes!  I made fun of him in the beginning until I realized he seriously is uncomfortable.

    I am the first woman he has ever farted in front of so I figure we are going in baby steps!

    That is cute, he sounds like a gentleman!  Hopefully he'll loosen up when he has to clean up so much poop in the not to distant future!

    Never have shut the door...for either of us.  I don't see what the big deal is.  But then we watch people pee all the time...and sometimes "help" them pee.

    I always leave the door open.  If I don't our dog throws herself into the door repeatedly in an attempt to open it.  DH closes the door sometime, but the dog doesn't follow him around like she follows me...

    I pee with the door open and DH doesnt mind but he cant stand it when I poo with the door open. He is such a little girl! lol

    Always. I never close the door unless guests are over. I even pee with it open when my parents are here!! Obviously, my dad is never around to "see" me pee, but my mom and I have had some great convo's mid-stream. LOL.

    DH does it too, so I guess it's just normal to us!

    We both pee with the door open and have since shortly after we got married. I didn't realize it was something that people are shy about!
