This is my 3rd pregnancy.
First pregnancy i felt flutters at about 18 weeks. Second pregnancy not till al least 22 weeks. There were 17 years between those pregnancies and my OB thought the 2nd pregnancy was my first because my abdominal muscles were so tight (i was pretty proud of this haha).
This time round since everything is recently stretched - Im hoping ill feel movement sooner.
Re: How early have you felt your baby's first movements?
I felt "flutters" around 15-16 weeks for a couple of weeks then nothing until week 28.
I have an anterior placenta, though
Doc said the baby was moving I just couldn't feel it because of all the fluid between her and my stomach muscles. Around 28 weeks is when she became strong enough to punch and kick with enough force for me to feel it through the fluid.
I felt the first kick - and it was defintely a kick - at 12 weeks. But that's abnormal....apparently I've got a future soccer star in there. At our 13 week ultra sound he was kicking a lot and the OB even asked me if I felt it...
I didn't feel it often or consistently until closer to 15 weeks. And now he wakes me up with kicks/punches.
I loved reading all the responses! Im hopeful and excited that it could happen anytime soon now!
First US is this Friday, and it cant come soon enough.
