do you notice a difference eating oatmeal?

I'm trying to rebuild my freezer stash.

Do you notice a difference on days or weeks  you eat oatmeal? How soon does it take to work?

Yes, I notice a difference.  I eat oatmeal every morning and if I start to have a dip in supply for any reason, I eat more oatmeal or bake oatmeal cookies and eat a bunch.  I usually notice a difference within 24 hours.

  • I may sound nuts but it seems to work for me.  I notice a fair dip in supply when I stop drinking milk and eating oatmeal (and I eat the instant packet kind).  When my supply is peak is when I make two packets for my midnight/early morning feeding snack and then two for breakfast and I am drinking 1/3 to 1/2 a gallon of milk a day.  I know that's a lot but I like milk anyway, however I think the milk is just about me staying hydrated.  Like pp said, 24 hours.
