Last Thursday at my appointment, my doctor told me I would need a growth u/s because my a/s was showing fluid in LOs kidneys. She had never mentioned this to me before and I was pretty freaked out! She scheduled me for a growth ultrasound today to check.
Well after breaking down in tears a few times this weekend, and researching via Dr. Google, I was really anxious to go this morning. Well- there is still fluid in one kidney but not enough for them to be concerned...
LO was looking great- measuring at 2.8 lbs and the u/s tech said LO was going to be tall!
Well, after our a/s scan MH told me I could find out the sex if I wanted (team green was always his idea), so I decided I would take the opportunity to find out...
It's a Girl! I have thought this baby was a girl since I got my BFP, I have dreamed it was a girl, and all the OWTs say girl... I am just thrilled! I got to my car and laughed, cried, and smiled all at the same time well holding my belly and telling her how much I loved her. It was amazing.
Now here comes the hard part- I am not telling anybody IRL- not even DH! I figure it'll be easier to keep a secret if nobody knows except me- and all of you!
So thanks thanks for sharing my secret with me! I can't stop smiling- it's not even 10 AM and I having the best day!

I am worried about my stash getting rather pink... Good thing I do all the laundry and shopping!
I have been saying "she" all along- so hopefully he won't notice if I actually slip up! I still plan on picking out boy and girl names with him, and will not be telling anybody so they can't slip up either! But I know it's going to be hard! Especially today since I am just so excited she's healthy!
What a sweet story! Glad everything is looking good with your LO!
Congrats on team pink--good luck keeping the secret. I would either slip and spill the news, or DH would cave and want to know.
At least you didn't find out at 20 weeks---now you don't have quite as long to keep the secret!
