s/o lawn care, organic company recs?

So right now Arbornomics provides our lawn/shrub chemicals.  We would like to move to something a little more natural/fewer chemicals.  Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that do this?  If they offer mosquito/flea/tick/bug yard protection even better.

  • We use this company. We have been pretty happy with them overall, they are definitely busy but they do a good job.

I work for a pest control company.

We have experts in the field.  We're committed to being environmentally responsible.

But when it comes to mosquito control - so called "natural" remedies just aren't effective.  What you need is a company who can inspect the problem properly, select the right treatment, apply it in the right amount, in the right way.  THAT is what makes a pest control method "green".  If a method doesn't work, it's not helping the environment!  In the industry we refer to "integrated pest management", which means an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management.  I'd look for a company that says they are committed to IPM.

We don't offer lawncare, but if you are interested in mosquito treatment, if you give me your zip code I could put you in touch with the right office.  I have mosquito treatment at my house once a month AND I LOVE IT!  It really makes a HUGE difference.  I'm one of those people mosquitoes LOVE and it's amazing the difference from standing in my yard to standing in my neighbor's yard!

  • Janimal-30345.  We have had great results with some stuff that DH gets at the DIYpest control place, but I shudder to think of how damaging it is, even at the right concentration.

I don't know if you have any offices that service Augusta but I'm interested if you do.  30909
