I don't personally have experience with this, but I do have some friends who just went through the same thing. Their baby girl was born full term, by c-section, then put on the hypothermic blanket. I don't know all of the details, but I do know that It was a great success for her. EEGs and MRIs were normal after treatment and she is at home doing great. I'm so sorry this happened, but it sounds like your little guy is in really good hands getting state of the art treatment. {{{hugs}}}
