Even though I'm not technically a mom yet.

DH got me doughnuts for breakfast. Then we took the doggies to the groomer so they will be fur free when the baby comes. Then he took me to a nice lunch followed by walking around all sorts of stores to go shopping. He hates shopping so it was kind of a big deal plus we were hoping the walking would make baby come lol. Then he bought me a big yoga ball to bounce on to get baby to come. He is very impatient and wants his baby girl now! Hehe We just got back from walking the doggies at the park and are resting for a bit before we head out to see "something Borrowed". It was a nice Mother's Day for me : )

What did everyone else do? Anything special?

    I still think the day is worth celebrating!! Even if baby is still inside!

    We didn't do anything special, but DH got me a pandora necklace with both our girls birthstones.

    He made some smarty pants comment about he hoped the baby would be born in May! I could have smacked him for that!haha

    DH got us cinnamon rolls for breakfast.  Then he got me a Cricut cartridge called "B is for Boy" that makes all kinds of cute baby boy things for me to scrapbook for Will with and a candle from my furbabies.  He cleaned the house and then grilled some garlic chicken breast for dinner.  He's so sweet, he said "I know you're not technically a mom yet, but I can't think of anyone who deserves Mother's Day more than women who are 9 months pregnant on Mother's Day!"

    We had a bbq and DF got me a sweet card and a new pair of PINK yoga pants to wear home from the hospital :) It was a good day even though my baby is still an inside baby.

    DH made me Belgian waffles for breakfast, and got me the sweetest card (made me cry but almost anything does at this point), bought me a really nice maxi dress that is both comfortable and beautiful, and a couple of cute little outfits for the little girl :)

    I also spent the day with my parents and had a great time, it was really a great great day.  It was in the low 80s with virtually no humidity (yay!), so I hung out at my parents pool a bit too which was wonderful.  If I go into labor right now, I could downright call it perfect :)

    DH and I have been working on the house off and on all day and I went to lunch with my parents, grandma and aunt.  It's been a mellow day.

    Aw, that's sweet and sounds like an awesome day!

    DH got up with DS in the a.m. and let me sleep.  When I got up there were flowers and a card waiting for me.  Then he took my Starbucks order, ran out and got me my fave.  Made me breakfast- whole wheat french toast with peanut butter and honey, bacon, and fruit salad- yum!  He then proceeded to clean the entire house, top to bottom (it took him 3 hours!) and I went shopping and got a mani/pedi.  It was awesome!  We got a pizza later for dinner and he made me a chocolate-banana smoothie for dessert while I propped my feet up.  Such a nice day!!
