I saw this in the newspaper today and it made me giggle...

"New Zoo surprised by baby snow monkey"

"The newest member of the NEW Zoo family is a 2-week-old Japanese snow monkey, whose birth late last month surprised zookeepers.

Named "Seiichi" (say-chee), which means "sincere one" in Japanese, the little guy was a surprise because he was born to a mother on birth control as zookeepers tried manage the timing of reproduction among the zoo's six female snow monkeys.

The baby is too young to be on public display, but visitors may occasionally glimpse him being bottle-fed in the window of the snow monkey building between 9 a.m. and noon.
