Have you put up a wall decal? I need you!

We are planning to put up a tree decal in baby's room later today. Problem is, I can't find the instructions!! I did read them when the decal came earlier this week, so I have a vague idea of what to do. What I'm reading on this site sounds like what I remember reading on the instruction sheet...

If you have a second, can you look these instructions over and let me know if this is what you did?

I did try going to the site where I bought the decal, but no instructions online. I'm sure I could have them send me another copy, but I want this decal done today!

  • Here is what we did...this is the video from the company we ordered from (I'm much more visual, I suck at reading and following instructions)

  • Yep! That sounds good! Once applied, gently brush over with a cloth (working from the center out).

Also, for my decal, I lined up the segments perfectly and then it shrunk a bit with temperature changes. So, I'd have a tiny amount of overlap between the pieces in case it shrinks. ;) Good luck!

  • Mine didn't come with instructions at all, and I didn't notice a third layer that needed to be removed. Either it didn't have one or I did it wrong.

I just dusted the wall and starting putting the pieces up. Mine is repositionable so I could peel off and restick pieces until I liked it.

  • Thanks everyone! When I unrolled everything, out popped the instructions after all :) The video was really helpful. It was a process, but we have the main part of the tree up. Now I have to play with where to put all the little flowers and birds...
