if you have an iPad

I am likely going to be buying one in the next 4-6 weeks.   I dont need or want the 3G, especially since we dumped ATT and I will always have a wifi connection.

What storage size do you have and is it enough?   I will be putting a TON of apps on for work/research project, including an Augmentative communication system.  I'll be using it to collect data, and if possible call up and view MSFT office documents (edit them if possible).  It would be great to be able to get the 499 (16G) one, but I have no problem with a larger one if needed.

I'd like to use it as an ereader.   Keep photos on it, and music.  and of course, email internet etc.

How is it for watching movies (kids?  Plane to iowa...)

Re: if you have an iPad

  • I love love love my I pad. I originally ordered a 16G but after thinking about it I changed my mind and got a 32. I figured that my ipod was about that size and 1/2 full of just music. I didn't want to spend that much money and run out of room. I think that the apps are usually pretty small, so are books. Not sure how the microsoft stuff works on it. The only problem I have w/ mine is I can't post to the bump on it. =(  Movies are good too.

  • My sister just got an ipad2 and she loves it.  I would buy the 32, in my opinion its always better to have to much space than not enough.
  • My 32G iphone does not hold more than 1 movie with the aps I have on it so we ordered the 64G.  HTH>
