What do you love most about being a mom?

In honor of Mother's Day, tell me what do you love most about being a mom?

For me, I'm amazed how seeing her face can wipe away a bad day, how hearing her laughter can bring me so much joy and how watching her sleep can bring me so much peace.  It is both the easiest and hardest thing I've ever done, but it is also the BEST thing I've ever done!!

    ITA with everything you said! Other things I love about being a Mom are being able to watch him grow before my eyes, and being the only person that can truly comfort him.

    The way her face lights up when I walk in from work at the end of the day and how it makes it not matter how rough the whole day was.

    His laughter. Seeing his personality emerge. Teaching him new things (latest is high fives).

    What everyone else said.  Also her smile, her laugh, the way she is growing and changing so much everyday.  Getting to see the world through her little eyes and how excited she gets over simple things.

    I am also a stepmom and love seeing how much my SD loves my DD (there is a 12 year age difference).  To hear SD talk about what she's going to do with DD when she gets older.  Have sleepovers, pick her up from school etc.

    I also agree with pp. But, my favorite is at night, no matter how rotten or how great our day has been, I can't help but be amazed by her sweet face as she falls asleep. I could watch her sleep endlessly...but I'm smarter than that and eventually go to sleep too!

    Motherhood is the best thing I have ever done. I love seeing dh and lo together and knowing that I have the most amazing family.
