AW and a ? about EP

First I have to share, b/c I am so excited.  With Eli I had quit pumping/BFing by the time I went back for my 6 week appt with the OB.  Well today makes 6 weeks of EPing for Addy.  I am so very excited!  BFing is very painful, I have to turn the machine way down to get started without a lot of pain, but I made it further than I did with Eli.  So I am very happy.  AND I proved Addy's doctor wrong.  She told me I couldn't keep up with such a big baby pumping... HA!  :)  Honestly I think maybe I just needed someone to tell me that I couldn't do it, so I was motivated to make it work.  LOL

Now my question.  Everything I see on la leche league and kelly mom all is about BFing, which a lot of if doesn't apply to an EP.  Are there any EP resources out there I should know about (or maybe on those websites and I am just missing them)?  Are there any EP who can share their experience with returning to work?  I am just wondering if anyone was able to keep up with their LO when they were EP and at work.  I guess I am especially worried since I have to pump 20 to 30 minutes to get all my milk out and unless I want to pump in the car (which I am certainly considering) I doubt I can get the mother's room for that length of time given how busy it is.  Any thoughts/suggestions?  I have about 4.5 weeks left (boo hoo) so if I need to change anything, nows the time to do it to prep for my return.

    I just want to say congrats!! I did not EP so I am very proud of you. I am sure Kelnumbers will have so many resources for you. At one point she posted a whole page of tips.

    I will say that pumping in the car IMO was no big deal at all. I actually didn't mind doing it. I wish I would have bought a car adaptor because if I did it often I went through batteries kind of quickly but nothing hateful. Good Luck!

    Yeah pumping in the car is the only way I can make a shopping trip to Florence and back without regretting life.  :)  I love pumping in the car.  I am just not sure if I want to risk it where my co-irkers might be around.  KWIM?  :)  LOL

    I will FB mail you my saved list of tips.  The BFing board was a great resource, and Ivillage has a message board for EPers.  The link is in my list of tips, which is on my desktop...  I'll send it to you after B goes to bed. 

    Also, buy an adapter from Radio Shack that works for any electric stuff.  The PISA adapter is nice to have as well, but the radio shack one is now soo handy to have around (plug in portable DVD player, cell phone charger, etc...)

    For this reason, I used to park a little further away...  Oh, and I learned to unhook while still driving.  That also helped.

    2. FWIW, I book the Mother's Room for (2) hour-long blocks, throughout the day. That way, I have some wiggle room if/when I have a scheduled conflict. I hope you are able to find blocks like available for your use. How many rooms are in your building?
