I ordered one of those pee stick gender prediction tests and finally got to use it this morning. The instructions very clearly say the results will either show blue or pink. Our result was PURPLE. What does that mean?! I wrote the company and complained that their test was defective. I suppose this is my own fault for being so impatient to find out what we're having. Now I can't even get a hint, I just have to wait.

    I don't think I'd believe anything those tests say anyways.

    Seriously though, you should ask for a refund!  Even if the test is wrong, it should still function properly.

    Sorry you wasted your money, but there is nothing in your pee that can tell you if you are having a boy or a girl.  If you can't be patient enough to wait to find out the sex of your baby, you're going to have a LONG 9 months!!

    I thought it would be a fun experiment and mainly did it for entertainment purposes. I didn't plan on painting the nursery or anything.

    You're far enough along where you could go for an elective ultrasound. We did ours for $40. I bet you paid like $30 for that test.

    The only places is our area won't do it until 20 weeks with a note from your doctor, and they start at $100. That's a little expensive for us.
