I have a question for BOTB

I am reading a book and it has two phrase in it that I always thought were "BOTB sayings." (I have asked a few people outside of this board if they have heard them and they always say no, they never heard of the saying)

So far I have come across "Awesome Sauce" & "Batsh*t Crazy."  So, my question is, Is this common terminology or is there a author on this board?

    I don't think they're botb specific, but I hear a ton of things on these boards before I hear them elsewhere.

    I've said "awesome sauce" for awhile.  But whenever I hear/read bsc I think of the board and feel that someone is watching me.

    I've said BSC my whole life, but awesome sauce, asshat and twatwaffle are ones that I learned here.

    Huh...I guess I only hang out with old school people :/ I will have to finish the book to see if asshat or any of the others are used Stick out tongue

    I've used BSC for a long time, before BOTB, and I use it almost on a daily basis. Most people I meet aren't familiar with the terms though.

    I hear most of them here first and then in real life, but twatwaffle and douche canoe are definitely BOTB.
    First comes Love Nov 11,  2003, Then Marriage: Aug. 23, 2006. Baby??? TTC since May 2010. Started seeking additional medical intervention (again) Summer 2013, finally appointment is booked!

    Aug 16, 2013 - SA done - All good strong numbers
    Apr 3, 2014 - Consult with OBGYN to get my testing started.
    Mar 6, 2014 - Surprise BFP!!!! EDD Nov 9th. Consult with OBGYN changed to prenatal meet and greet!
    May 2, 2014 - NT scan perfect! Can't wait to find out what team we're on. 
    June 11, 2014 - it's official, we're TEAM PINK!!!

    Slore, Twatwaffle, Douche Canoe, Awesome Sauce... I don't know that any are specifically BOTB but I do know that I learned them here.

    I def. hear them here first but they eventually make their way to real life.

     It's a little embarrassing to admit, but it's the House of Night series. I like the first books ok, but I'm having a hard time getting through "Burned."

    We had an aunt we use to call helen bsc (last name).... So yeah, sort of common here. Haha.

    Douchecanoe and twatwaffle were new for me.
