AW: my Dh is awesome

for some reason I'm feeling happily emotional today - I'm browsing through our wedding photos and listening to our first dance music (over and over).  I'm tearing up at just how much I love my DH.  He's not an overtly emotional guy but I don't let that stop me from sending mooshy text messages every now and then.  usually his reply is "whatever" (but I know the smile that spreads on his face when he does that...)

today I send a simple text:  I love you

And his reply has me in (good) tears:  I love you two too

I really am a very lucky woman.

    Awwww that is soooo sweet.  Especially since he isn't overly emotional it makes it even more special.

    What a beautiful posting. Thank you for sharing. You are a VERY lucky woman and you have an amazing DH. I am very happy for you and your LO and family!!!     That's about knowing your mate and not getting caught up with how "other" people are.  My SO isn't overly emotional but when he does things that I know are not in his character, I show him that he's appreciated.  My SO was traveling and I sent him a text saying I wish he was right next to me, and he text me back that he never left.  Yep, I cried.
