Does your LO make eye contact a lot?

My LO seems far more interested in looking at the ceiling and out the window than my face, even when I'm right in front of her. She does have moments when she sees me and then holds my gaze and has even given me little smiles, but those times are few and far between.

My LO is just a little over a month. Just wondering what your LOs do. Everywhere I read that LOs love faces and my LO...not so much!

    DS is exactly the same way. He would rather stare at the ceiling than my face. He does make eye contact sometimes, but then he turns his head towards the ceiling. I don't know what's so great about our ceiling....

    Olivia just started looking at us this week.  It melts our hearts when she does that and coos at us.

    Nora does like to look at our faces and make eye contact, especially when I'm holding her close or feeding her; however, she also looks around a lot at ceiling fans, mirrors, the light coming through the blinds etc..

    We are just starting to get some occasional eye contact and smiles as well. She loves the dark ceiling fan against the white paint!

    Same here. She looks at me, but spends a lot of time looking all over the place.
