Anyone interested in cheering me up?

I had a miscarriage last week and my dr. told me I didn't have to wait to start trying again. I'm trying not to be down about starting over with TTC, so I thought I'd check with you lovely ladies to see how long it took you after your loss to get a BFP. Kinda to remind myself there there is a light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. Smile "Positive thoughts...positive thoughts..."

We TTA for 3 cycles post m/c and then conceived this LO on our second cycle trying.

I personally wasn't ready to start TTC for a while plus my DH was out of country for a while post D&C. When we did start TTC, we got pg off the first cycle of clomid. I just wanted to send you pg dust and T&P's!!!! Good luck!!!

Treat yourself this weekend to a yummy glass (or bottle) Stick out tongue of wine, some really good movies, your favorite blanket and just spoil yourself. I found it helped after our loss with my DH gone.

I am so sorry for your loss. We were told we could try again right after our loss in Sept '10. We did and it took us 3 months to conceive. Unfortunately that pg ended in a chemical pg in Jan. We started ttc right away again and we just our bfp on 4/28...so another 3 months.

GL and I hope that once you've healed emotionally that it won't be long before you are pg again!

I enjoyed a lot of sushi and wine between my loss and getting pregnant again.

As for trying, we had to wait 3 cycles before we could try again... of course my husband was away on business during the critical part of the 4th cycle so when we got pregnant during our first official TTCAL cycle it was beautiful.

I am so sorry for your loss. Make sure that you give yourself time to heal before you jump back on to the TTCAL train with both feet.

We were told to wait 2 cycles after our loss, and got our BFP during the 4th cycle thereafter, so around 6 months.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a similar situation, my doc said we could try again right away, not even wait for first AF. We were a little uneasy about that first cycle and rather than trying we just didn't prevent. We didn't get pregnant then, but were really ready to try after that, and got pregnant with that next cycle. Good luck to you on your TTCAL journey and try when you and your SO feel that you are ready.

So sorry for your loss. The heartbreak is unimaginable. It was 5 months between our loss and BFP. I was upset it took a few months but am glad for the recovery time in the end. We also enjoyed some of the best sex of our relationship the last 2 months. It's a good thing since now we've had a dry spell since. Try to find ways to enjoy this time. Wine and sushi are good starts!

I'm so sorry for your loss. After my loss the doc told us to wait 2 cyce, but we ended up waiting 3 instead. It worked out pretty good because I used the time to get caught up on all of my doctor and dentist visits, got a flu shot, lost the baby weight and got back into fightin' weight. We conceived on TTC cycle #6.

I am so sorry for your loss. We had a chemical pregnancy - the miscarriage was right around 5 weeks. It was a difficult time for me because I am a little older and felt like time had run out for me. Since I didn't need to have a D&C, my doc gave us the green light to try right away. We got pregnant two weeks later. I am EXTREMELY fortunate that it went that way for me, but it didn't make the feelings from my c/p go away - I've carried the fear with me into this pregnancy. However, I'm pretty sure I would have had fear no matter how long after my c/p that I got my BFP.

Paint your toes and have a bottle of wine with a friend. Don't shut yourself away- I did and it did nothing good for me. You'll be in my T&P

I'm so sorry for your loss.

After my m/c, I was told to wait one cycle and then I got pregnant again right away. So far so good! At the time, it felt like we had to wait forever, but looking back, it was actually really quick!

I'm sorry for your loss. We didn't have to wait at all. It took 8 months and IVF to get pregnant again.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through right now. It's so difficult. I was 6 months from D&C to BFP (last week), though we had a very short CP in March. We waited until AF returned and then began TTC. Big hugs to you right now.

So sorry for your loss. We were told to wait one cycle and then we could start. I had my d&c in Jan and we got pregnant in March. Gl, give yourself whatever time you need to heal both physically and mentally. Everything will work out for you, just remember to be patient with yourself.
