Re: Weekend plans???
I have no idea what we are doing tonight. I know that L is picking up the kids and because I am working in the ER, I'll be home a bit later than normal.
Tomorrow we are packing up and heading to Hershey Park. We'll spend the day riding rides and having a good time!
Sunday we'll do some of the other attractions around Hershey and then probably head home early so we can get ready for the week and have a bit of downtime.
We are looking forward to it!
Today I am taking Iz to the Dr. for her butt boil thing and possibly getting a referral to an orthopedist. J works tonight so the girls and I will probaby do a movie and popcorn.
Tomorrow is Iz' meet and greet party, no one RSVP'd so we have no idea how many people are coming. That should be an all day affair.
Sunday J works in the morning, no plans for us.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
Yay for Friday! Except I'm a little bummed about it this week, because I'm finally feeling well enough that I'm enjoying my time off from work! Probably a sign that it's time to go back, but oh well...
This weekend my sister and nephews (2 y/o twins) are coming to visit DW and me! They're leaving BIL at home to get work done on the house and are going on a big train adventure. So we're trying to find some toddler friendly NYC activities...probably some playgrounds, maybe eating Shake Shack in the park, and maybe the transit museum, though we're still debating whether the little ones will enjoy it enough to make the trip worth it. Our apartment is nowhere near toddler-proof so keeping them indoors for too long probably won't be a very good option!
I feel like we should do something nice for my sister for mother's day, but don't really have a good idea yet. I also don't want to step on her husband's toes for anything he might have planned from him/the boys for when she gets home. I'll call my mom at some point I'm sure. As for us, I'll just dream of being someday mothers. Haha, I'm totally ridiculous.

Tonight is date night! I chose last week (failed Indian) so Kerri gets to pick tonight.
Tomorrow we are driving up to northampton and getting our gay on at Pride. I can't wait to see my friends.. I lived up there, in lesbo land, for 10 years. I came out there, became an adult there.. I love it. It is odd that all my friends are still up there.. it is like a time warp. The same bartenders.. the same gays.. the same barista's.. everyone is just older.. I love visiting but I really love coming home. It is weird..
Sunday we are going to the Red Sox game! GOOOO SOX!!!
ooo, i cant wait to hear how the kids do on thier train adventure
Sprout wants to take "thomas" into the city soooo badly, but I just dont know how RB would do.
Tonight Sprout's going to parent's night out at my gym (hopefully, though i just remembered i forgot to register him!) while we hang out with the girls and clean the house.
Tomorrow we've got a bday party for our friend's 1 year old. its spot on our nap time so we'll do our best to finagle RB around it, though she's getting less and less finagle-able by the day. the joy of toddlerhood.
Sunday we'll be going to a picnic with the fam at B/SIL's house. hopefully it'll be good weather and the kids will be able to run around outside.
overall, a pretty relaxing weekend.

Still Unpacking and if we can find our silverware that would be splendid.... our cleaning lady helped pack the kitchen and well lots seem to be MIA she did not write what was in the boxes - YIKES!
Dinner tonight with a local friend who is gonna try to organize a small shower in NV for us
Saturday - just try to unpack some more boxes and get settled. Its supposed to be 90+ degrees here this weekend. Now that I own a home I am all of the sudden cheap and cant fathom running the AC. Melanie will prolly have my head she is starting to get real uncomfortable and out of breath and sleepy and HOT HOT HOT!
Sunday- Just a small brunch with our friends who finalized their adoption with their ADORABLE son. They live down the street from us.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and an EXCEPTIONAL MOTHERS DAY !

Tonight we're going to grab a quick bite and then see Nostalgia for the Light.
Tomorrow plans are somewhat up in the air. I'm going to go running in the morning, and I need to spend a lot of time working on the job hunt. In the late afternoon/evening we might meet up with some friends who are here from Maine for the big ALS conference this weekend. They want to see the Smithsonian's natural history museum. I love that museum, so that will be fun. If they can't get together Saturday we'll do it on Tuesday instead.
Sunday we don't have any plans yet. We're a combined 4,000 miles from our moms, so no brunch I guess. I offered to babysit a friend's 6-month-old so her and her husband can go out for a nice dinner, but I haven't heard back. Keeping the evening open just in case.
Tonight: date night with my gf, no idea what we're doing yet.
Tomorrow: hopefully sleeping in, brunch and chilling with my gf. Dinner with my old boss who is in town for a conference. Maybe some errands and birthday shopping for DD.
Sunday: My gf goes back to work that morning and I get DD back from her dad's. We'll call E's nana and my mom (my parents are visiting next weekend for E's birthday) for mother's day wishes and beyond that I have no idea. The weather here is supposed to be crap, so maybe we will go see a movie.
My nephews don't know Thomas the train yet, but one of them especially is totally a stereotypical boy and obsessed with choo-choo's and big trucks (my sister likes to joke that as they're leaving in the morning M says byebye to Daddy and T says byebye to Daddy's Truck). So I think Sprout's dream trip is pretty much what my sister is aiming for! RB is probably a little young to get anything out of it though, so you'd definitely have your hands full!! (But you're obviously good at that!) I'll let you know how it goes!

We don't have anything really exciting planned. Tonight we will stay home since Jay has a conference call with her grad school group. Saturday I'll go grocery shopping and to BJ's while Jay prepares for her exams. We're supposed to go to dinner tomorrow night but haven't decided where yet. Sunday will probably be spent doing chores and trying to cook meals for the week.

Tonight frozen pizza and some wine. E is finally asleep she took a mega nap and was up an hour later than usual. We need to make Ella's shirt for tomorrows walk.
Tomorrow is our March of Dimes Walk for Babies. We are so close to our goal. I don't think we will make it though. I am so excited to walk with one of our primary nurses. It is an amazing bond we made with our nurses they were so amazing. Traci who is walking with us loves E as much as we do. I couldn't of asked for a more wonderful person to care for Ella when we could not be there.
Sunday we are going to a farm in the morning and then Sue is going to study for her last final! E and I will hang out or go to the park to celebrate.
