pump dying or tough nipples...

I've been using a Medela Pump in Style Advanced for 5 months now.  It used to be I could only turn the dial to about the 3rd dot before it really started to get uncomfortable.  Now, I can turn it up ALL the way and it doesn't even hurt.  Am I getting used to the pump or is my pump dying? 

I haven't been pumping as much as I have and I'm wondering if its the pump.

    I've always used the highest setting with no problems. I'm sure you're just getting tough  :)

    that's interesting. I've found that I used to be able to turn my medela freestyle up from the default (L4) by a few steps (L5 or L6...even L7 a couple of times) but now I find myself turning it down to L3 a lot. I don't know why I got wimpier over time!

    I think my pump is pooping out. Maybe I'll call Medela and see if there are things i can check to see if its working at full strength.
