I always seem to read on The Bump that people have a much more difficult time with their children when they turn 3 and that the "terrible twos" really weren't so terrible compared to age 3. I've had the complete opposite experience with my girls and I'm wondering who else had a harder time with the twos.
So, if your child is at least 3, what has been harder in your experience, 2 or 3 and is your child(ren) a boy or girl?
Both of my girls were much more difficult from age 2 to 3. For me, 3 has been wonderful. I still have to go through the "terrible twos" once more with my DS, and I'm wondering which age will be harder 2 or 3. I guess I shall see!
Re: Poll: Which age is harder - 2 or 3?
DS was harder at 3 than he was at 2. DD hasn't been too bad at 2, she's pretty easy to handle.
Honestly, I think ages 5-8 are waaaay more hard than infant and toddler years. They can talk back, argue, you have to try to explain things to them, they go off to school and do whatever they want.....
I'd take a toddler any day. Bring it. But I'm about to ship the 9 yr old off to military academy
With DS#1, 2 years was hard. Terrible two's kicked in when he turned 1! LOL!
DS#2, it's the 3 years that's getting worse. He was actually pretty quiet and to himself during his second year. As we get closer to his third birthday, he's found his voice, thanks to his big brother, and he's coming out now. HAHA!!
So, they are both not so fun. They are coming into their own. Four doesn't get any better either. DS#1 has an attitude and a mouth to match. Can't wait for the teenage years, at least then the punishments can be more severe. : )
Three (so far) with DS is definitely harder. You would think 2 was harder since DD was a baby - but I would take those days back in a heartbeat
It's nice because DD is older and they play together a lot. But I am starting to think they could really benefit from some time apart
DD will be 2 in July and she is pretty easy. She is starting to act out a bit, but if she gets mad about something, she is over it in like 2.5 seconds. NOTHING like the tantrums DS has been having.
DS 3.12.08
DD 7.11.09
DD 8.01.13
For the love of God, please don't tell me it gets worse at 3....

Add me to the "I'm going to pretend I didn't see this post list"
I'm scared now.
There will be. You're only a few months in. When people say that 4 is better, it's not "instant" like the minute they turn 4 it's so much better. But you'll see that between 4 and 5 how much your daughter will mature.........
Hang in there!!!
