I know this may sound like a very strange question, but basically, I took my last provera pill yesterday and started my period. I have had major cramping and have (TMI warning) used most of two tampons, as well as had red blood on an overnight pad, so it feels like a normal period. This morning I called the RE to let them know because I'm supposed to start my Femara on CD2, and I wanted to schedule my CD10 ultrasound. After I called, I went to the bathroom, and now it seems like my period has kind of stopped. I know I'm not done yet, but now I'm all worried I was really only spotting (never really understood the difference between the two), and my actual period hasn't officially started. What happens if I take the Femara "too early?" Does anyone know if this is really bad or likely not a big deal? I wouldn't be concerned if I were taking them CD 5-9 because I know some people take them CD 2-6 (like me), so timing isn't such a big deal, but since I'm already supposed to take them so early, do you think this is a problem? It just seems so strange to me that I can't tell when my period starts! What does it really mean to "start your period"? TIA!

Re: Question re: period
red flow = period
If you had to use two tampons, that is definitely not spotting.

My RE says that if you need a tampon its AF. Mine usually comes and goes. Is that not normal? I would just watch it for the rest of the day and see what happens.
Sorry I can't be more help! Good luck!
