DH just asked me what I want to do for Mother's day.. and I'm really not sure! What are you ladies doing?

Hi!!

My DH is still overseas so I'll probably just go out to dinner with my parents. I've been wanting to go get a mani and pedi so I think I might do that if I can convince my dad to watch DD so my mom and I can go have some mother-daughter time.

Have you decided what you are going to do? Are you going to go out with DH and DS or just have some time to yourself?

My DH is out of town too. We will probably not do anything out of the ordinary...although I will inform DSs that I plan to go through the day without hearing the following words: poop, fart, butt, weiner.

Hey! We were thinking about heading up to Chicago and going to the field museum.. but not 100% sure on that yet. DS would come with us.

I'm so immature I totally laughed at this.

I don't know what's happening for M Day. My DH is home, but I might make the same request from my son. Or ask him to not sing 'booty booty booty, shake your booty booty booty!' while bending over and shaking his moneymaker at me.

Not much.. we're broke after depleting our savings while I was on mat. leave and DH was temporarily unemployed. Tongue Tied On Saturday, we're going to get DH new glasses (yippee, lol) and then we're having a dinner at the IL's. Sunday we'll go to church, and then it will just be the three of us, but we really can't afford to do much. I guess we'll just have some quality family time.

ETA: Oh, durr! DS's baby dedication is Sunday, too. I'm excited about that!

We're going out to dinner with DH's side of the family (mine are out of town). During the day, we'll probably just finish revamping the backyard- mulching, planting, etc.

My parents are in town, so they, DH, Audrey and I are all going to church and then out to brunch. Us girls are also going to do a 3 generation picture that I will frame and give to my mom for her mother's day gift.

DH also mentioned that Audrey got me something really nice for my first mother's day--can't wait to see what it is. Big Smile

My Dad is coming up for a visit, so we'll probably just hang out. My DH has something in the works, and he's usually pretty awesome about presents

I just want to spend time with DS , DH and my Dad! Maybe i'll get to take a nap too

DS' dad wants to take him on mothers day Huh?

He usually only has him for like 3 hours. But still. It's my first mothers day! He was supposed to take him last night but his nose was kinda stuffy [and I just got over a cold so I was afraid he was getting it] So I told him I thought it was best if he didn't go over there. And he hasn't seen him in a week so in a way I feel sorta bad if I say no. But then again I don't.

going to brunch with M/FIL. BIL's wife is being a douche and so they are not coming this year. then MH has a softball game at 3pm that I ok'd him to play.

I'm sleeping in for as long as I want. Hubby bringing me breakfast in bed. Then I'm going running for as long as I want. then coming home and snuggling with my little man.
