What a rollercoaster day

Talk about when it rains it pours. We've been looking to move and have been waiting on two different houses. While I was on the phone with the first house agent letting us know that we were the first choice BUT they decided to go with a family with 5 kids who needed to stay in a certain school district (actually glad they told us that, feel better somehow) an email came through from second choice offering the house. J has had a fever off and on since Sat. and I'm feeling the guilt of only being able to barely take a day off with him so MIL gets to/has to give him lovies all day. Boss decides that right now is a good time to ask me point blank when I'm taking off maternity leave and if I'm coming back. I'm a mess, and now I get to take J to the doctor to figure out what is causing this weird fever and for his "teeth" (I'm thinking throat) to hurt. Then to bed because I think I am done with today.

I think we are in the same boat. I can't take any time off at all because I have to save it for maternity leave, ugh
