I used the rough side of the baby wash cloth while washing his hair and then the baby hair brush as often as I could. It hasn't been a problem for us since he was about 5 weeks old. I still keep up the routine though because I don't want it to come back.

Whenmy DS was a baby I found this stuff in the baby section of Walmart. It is called Cradle Cap Care, made by Gentle Naturals, and it is in a green bottle with Winne the Poo on it. It worked within a few uses, and we never had the problem again. I used it again with DD as soon as I noticed it starting, and it's been gone since.
DS had AWFUL cradle cap- it his head seriously looked like a snake's scales. What we have found worked wonders is to rub vaseline on his head, let sit for 15 minutes and then use a soft bristled tootbrush to comb against the flakes to break them loose from his scalp. Then we shampoo with a tiny bit of Selsun Blue. The first time we did this his cradle cap was 80% better. We are now on his fourth treatment of this and his cradle cap is pretty much all gone!

You MUST tell me where you got those jeans for DS.
My DS has cradle cap as well. It's getting so much better but he still has this one spot - I am trying lots of things and it does seem to be getting better, but not all gone yet.
a little olive oil...let it sit for 10 min then i used my finger to scrape it off or a comb. then a bath to take off the oil. did it 2-3 times...cradle cap is now gone

Sorry for the late response! The jeans were a gift from Baby Gap. Aren't they so darn cute. I tell him he looks like a "real boy" when he wears them

A little bit of Head and Shoulders. I read awhile back someone else tried this. I was alittle nervous, but tried it anyway. I just used a dime size amount. Within a few washes it was gone.
