Has anyone taken their baby to a surgeon?

Lila was born with a cyst on her forehead, which has progressively gotten a little bigger. Of course it is ALL I see when I look at her, but other people don't notice. So at her one month appt today we told the pedi it had gotten bigger and he agreed, so we are now booked to see a pediatric surgeon in June. I am freaking out because I don't want to think about my baby having surgery

Has anyone had to take their baby or toddler to a surgeon?

Alec had to have his circumcision done at 10 weeks and we had to see a pediatric surgeon. It was really hard, but it was harder on us than him. I have a rec for a surgeon if you need one. Our guy is head of Pediatric Surgeory at Eggleston.

One of my girlfriend's little girl had a cyst on her forehead, actually on her eyebrow. They had it removed when she turned one because it kept getting larger. The decided to pay and have a plastic surgeon remove it so the scaring would be less. I haven't talked to her in a while because she moved but I could try and get back in touch with her for you two to talk. She is really sweet.

I haven't personally but I used to work for a Plastic Surgery office and they did stuff like that pretty often. One of my old docs is in Atlanta now and I would feel comfortable referring you to him. Let me know if you want the info.
