  Is DIY an option?  You could find an old map (or age it using tea) and decoupage it onto a wood or cardboard craft ball, then spray to seal it and give it sheen.

  Could you mod podge some?  Get a cool older map and then tear it up a bit and glue it onto balls?  Not sure if that is the look you are going for or not!
