Anyone donating their breast milk? I'm not sure how to go about it. I've heard from several people to not go through a milk bank and to only donate mother-to-mother. I'm just not sure where to start and was wondering if anyone was donating. Thanks

I'll hold you in my heart until I hold you in heaven.
I have three drawers in the freezer full of milk and I'm quickly running out of room. We don't have a deep freezer so the 6 month mark on some of the milk is almost half way here. I figure it would be best to donate it rather than throw it away. That would break my heart.
I pump just before I go to bed and at 4am. Noah wakes up around 7am and if he doesn't take both sides, I pump again. That's how I've worked up such a stockpile.
Our freezer is at 0 degrees and everything that I've read says it can be stored up to 6 months. I hope that's right!
Belay my last.
Some f***tard friend of my DH's unplugged the freezer and ALL 856oz that was out there is wasted. It's probably been unplugged for a week.
I'm still crying. I don't even have tears anymore. And I filled out the form this morning to donate milk. Now I have enough to feed A for just a few days if needed.
I would F***ing kill someone.
Seriously.
I cry when my husband thaws 2.5 ounces that DD never eats.
OMG- this is awful! I'm so sorry!!! I'm on a business trip and I am dumping all of my milk every time I pump, and it is killing me. I cannot even imagine how you feel
