I NEVER told him it was that magic time of the month. He doesn't need to know. If you make it all about making a baby, it takes all the sexy out of it and makes it just sex. Make it fun! We had a harder time the 1st time TTC and while DH knew I was temping and stuff, I never kept him updated on what time of the month it was - I sent him texts messages telling him he was all mine that night, get out some sexy things to wear - whatever you used to do to get him excited when you were not in baby making mode.

Agree!
Mom to Jace (7/2004), Cade (2/2009) and baby girl (5/2019)
My husband and I are trying for our first, so I actually share a lot with him including when I'm ovulating. We're excited so it hasn't really affected our sex life that much. Rather than saying, "Honey, I'm ovulating" I just take charge and make sure things get done. I don't know too many men who say "No" to spontaneous bedroom play.
