lotions, creams..anything to help my belly???

Ok..so my second baby..i have stretch marks from my first born but am trying to prevent more. Heres the thing..i have tried, palmers tummy butter,vitamin E oil(so thick),vasaline lotions,etc. My belly is flaking off!! I lube up morning and night and sometimes during the day..Any ideas? Some people have told me to by Kiehls, or nivea cream. However i have also heard the nivea leaves you feeling greasy and the kiehls is pretty expensive. But if someone could give ideas of what has worked for them that would be great.

    I just posted recommening my cream the other day! 

    My bump was so itchy & dry.  I tried lots of drugstore lotions but none worked - in fact I think I itched even more because of them.

    I found this cream at Whole Foods.  The brand is Alafiia & it's their Cocoa Butter Body Cream. I just save it for my bump as its pricey for the little jar but well worth it IMO.  Its wonderful to put on, my tummy feels lovely & soft & cocoa butter is supposed to help with preventing stretch marks.  Plus it has no chemicals or nasty stuff in it so I feel safe using it!

    I'm using Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Balm. Not sure how effective it will or can be, but it leaves my belly feeling soft, smooth and itch free all day. You'd think it would be greasy when you first put it on, but once you rub it in, it almost feels like when you wax furniture - really smooth.

    I posted about this happening to me a while ago, lol.  I was mortified and had never experienced it before.  DH and I went out shopping with a mission and after trying many different types of "belly jelly/boob lube" (as he dubbed it) we decided on Lubriderm Intense Therapy.  It feels amazing, is thick but not greasy and had me sleek and soft in two days.  DH helps me put it all over and it just makes my skin happy.

    I have this too and sometimes put it on at night.  I feel like i have too much belly to rub all that stuff in!  Does that make sense, lol?  I love it on my cuticles though!

    Bio Oil is kind of greasy/oily but I thought it worked really well! :)

    When i was pregnant with LO i used HEMPZ lotion from the begining to end and i would use more on my breasts and belly and i have not 1 stretch mark! it smells really good too. I used to buy it for DH instead of him using girly lotion but for now it's mine :)

    I had an unrelated appointment with my dermatologist last week and asked him if he had an belly advice. He recommended thick creams, like Cetaphil.

    I use Burts Bees Mama Bee, its basically olive oil and...some other kind of oil.  It really helps me with the dry and itchy belly!

    Shea body butters have been working for me, but I've heard of some ladies who haven't had luck elsewhere using anti-aging creams and having excellent results. Good luck!

    I read somewhere that when pregnant the best thing for itchy skin is drinking more water.

    When I 1st got dry skin I tried BioOil from Walgreens as a bath oil.  It worked wonders. I only used one bottle of it & my skin wasn't dry anymore. Now to maintain my skin I use Yes to Carrots body lotion also from Walgreens. Its organic and a bit expensive...but it works!  It even works wonders on hubby's dry mechanic hands. Stick out tongue
