It was ok. She gained so that was good news but only 3/4lb. She also has developed this fear of the scale so I had to weigh her with me and then without her and subtract so it was not as accurate as I would have liked. I am pretty sure she was 22lb 8oz. Which was up from 18 months but still not what she was at her 15 month appointment. She also grew about 3/4 of an inch. So she was 31 inches. So we continue with our high fats and pray for a healthy spring and summer. My poor 22 month old is still wearing size 12 month pants. She has been healthy for the last few weeks so I am crossing my fingers that she is gaining still.

glad she is on the upswing..even though it is slow growing.
I hear you about clothes. I grabbed a pair of shorts for Grayson this weekend and realized they were really short on him. I took them off and they were 24m from last summer (when he was 4!) and fit him fine except in length. My own little skinny minny.
Aww, I know how disappointing it can be when they gain, but not nearly what you thought they would. I'll definitely be sending you healthy, chubby vibes!!
So glad to hear about some gain though, and about a healthy few weeks. When's your next check?
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

I can imagine how frustrating the slow weight gain must be after everything you've been through.... but I wanted to add that my nephew is 25 months and also still rocking his 12 month pants! I was just joking with my sister the other day that it's a good thing summer is coming, because it'll be normal that all the pants look like shorts on him. Fingers crossed for little E to stay healthy!

Thanks I was sure she was up more. We don't go in until the summer unless she gets sick and has a drop in her eating. She is eating like a horse the last few weeks so here is hoping. She does have genetics against her. I was super tiny at her age. She was back up to the 9th percetile in weight from the 8th so that was good.
