I had my first beta this past Friday. I have never been so nervous for anything in my entire life. Thank goodness my appointment was early because my stomach was so tied up in knots that I couldn't even eat breakfast.
Thankfully, the doctor didn't wait too long to call back with the results. I think it was about an hour and a half later. I was still a nervous wreck, sitting and waiting for his call. When he gave me the news, my response was "Really? Are you sure?" because he told me it was positive. I was so certain that I was out. I can't believe how much it mimiced my cycle in that it felt exactly the same as if FP was coming.
Doctor said beta was strong for 8dp5dt - I found out when I went back for my second beta Tuesday that it was 232. Tuesday's results looked good as well and he told me it looks like it could be twins. I go for my first ultrasound on the 17th.
I really don't feel much besides some cramping. I had a day or two of pretty intense cramps that woke me up in the middle of the night and some super light spotting for a day or two. The only thing I noticed before getting the results was that I was super hungry. I'd eat breakfast and be starving three hours later. And I also noticed that I could see my veins on the underside of my arms. I am fair skinned so I just kind of wrote it off but I do look like a bit of a roadmap.

Congratulations! That is amazing news. How are you feeling about the possiblity of twins?! So fun!
Do you mind if I ask which RE you went to? We are going to CCRM.

I'm excited for twins. Crazy, I know. But I will be happy with whatever happens.
