Anatomy Scan was Yesterday!

Sorry I haven't posted- Yesterday was hectic. Between neighbor's dog, anatomy scan, finishing a final, going to Target for some baby stuff, and work, I came home and had no gusto to post-o.

SO! We went in and my bladder was full. Like, I was afraid I was going to pee on the table. Ultrasound tech said baby wasn't moving too much and "I don't know if we'll be able to tell the sex, its not showing much." At which point I said, "I know that its totally not your fault if baby is moving, but I may cry if we don't find out". Apparently that got baby moving a little and she said she was, "75% sure". I wasn't exactly pleased, but hey what are you gonna do?

Afterwards, I got to pee (yay!) and she came back and said the radiologist needed a few more pictures. I, worriedly, obliged and then a few seconds with the wand on my tummy the tech said, "oh yeah... It's a _____. I am almost 100% sure." Apparently baby was squished by my bladder a bit and the "extra room" made it stretch out. The tech also said baby's toes were pushing up against my bladder- that explains a lot!

The "extra" pictures worried me, but my OB said that if anything were wrong she'd call me by the end of the day. No phone call, so I am assuming it was just originally a fuzzy picture? Hopefully.

And if you want to know the sex (eek! Because we do!) go ahead an PM me. I have that lovely bump stalker and we want to make sure the surprise doesn't get ruined for those looking forward to it, albeit 24 days away.

Hope everyone's Thursday is going great! Its only 8:49 so hopefully no ones day is shot just yet. LOL

AND ETA: Can't believe I neglected to put this! They moved my due date up! Hope I can still be a September Momma, because apparently baby is due August 28th! Woo can't wait. It feels good to jump a week! Hehe

Yay for a healthy baby!

Don't worry about the extra pictures, its common for the radiologist to come back for additional pictures of something that wasn't 100% clear to them. Doesn't at all mean it was a problem.

Post the sex on the FB group!

Yay for a great scan!!! And post it on the FB group!!! I've been curious to see what you're having since I know some family members have been SO sure it's a boy.
