    I was really curious to see if Dateline would cover this, and am really curious to see if it will change any opinions about the case.

    I think most local news reporters have known this for some time, but they didn't have any legitimate reason to report it.

    There were rumors swirling around to this effect during the third trial.  And it became pretty obvious that those rumors were most likely true when his girlfriend, coincidently also named Sarah, showed up in court.

    I made the same comment on the Nest when Dave's posted the link, but if I never hear the name Ryan Widmer again I will be happy!

    Poor kid. It's a shame he's incarcerated at LCI. I know for a fact that they have a lovely story time program for the visiting children of inmates at Chillicothe. Indifferent

    DH worked on the Dateline.  He said the interviews with the jurors are... enlightening.   The baby wasn't a big secret, like pp said.  They just didn't have a reason to bring it up before now.  I'm sure I'll be watching if I can have the remote for a while.
