Going rate?

I am looking for a babysitter to come to my home 2 days a week from about 8-5 and the other 3 days just about 3:30-5. It will be for twin infants. How much is the hourly going rate for something like that. I have no idea. I live in Shelby Twp area if that matters

    My friend's sitter charges her $10/hour and she watches her 2 kids 2 days/wk from about 8am-5pm on those days.

    My parents usually watch the boys, but when they went on vacation, we paid $10/hr to have someone come to our house (same area)

    Anywhere from $10-$15 an hour. Probably on the higher end with twins...

    I babysat twins when I was in college. They paid me $12/hr on days I was there for just a few hours, or $100/day for full days... and that was 5-6 years ago and the kids were school age. I would think the rate for twin newborns would be $12-15 at LEAST for good care.
