Running out of foods to eat!

I am quickly running out of things to eat...everytime I eat something, about an hour later I realize I will not be eating it again for a long time.  Last night it was taco bell...I ate it, I loved it, and now thinking about it makes me sick...this has happened with every dinner I've eaten this whole week, pickles are the only thing I can eat on any regular basis...does anyone have a go-to food that doesn't make them sick afterward???

  • Well, lately biscuits and gravy have been my friend.  I have MAJOR problems with breakfast foods so at least I can do this.  No eggs for this girl for some time.

  • LOL- that is exactly what I have been experiencing! I've found that balnd foods are best I don't regret eating it later- pasta with butter and salt, toast, cheerios sometimes. I normally love chicken- not all I want is red meat and forget about fish! I had that a few weeks pregnant and never want to eat it "again" at this point!

  • Me too, I have aversions to just about everything!  There's only a few things I can eat, but then after eating them over and over I get so sick of them!

  • So far my safe foods are white rice with butter and cheese, hummus with pita bread and granny smith apples.

  • yea I can eat apples and oranges all day every day...I think I will try some sort of pasta tonight, that sounds good...all I do all day is figure out what I'm going to eat for dinner!

  • My go to is green beans...frozen, fresh, canned.  Any way I can get them.  Pickles are also good.  I guess it's the sour with the pickles.  Sour is supposed to be good for the nausea.

  • Peanut butter & banana sandwiches seem to go down well.  It's the 'real meals' that I never want to eat again- like pasta, or curry, or steak.

Frozen grapes have been one of my favorite snack foods as well.

  • Soooo true and pickles are the only thing I can continue to eat too. I feel bad for DH because I'm pretty much leaving dinner up to whatever is in the house. If I try to plan anything by the time I go to fix it I'm gagging :(
