Have you found any shorts that don't look totally ridiculous on them? Jamie is 3% for weight and height. Shorts stop at about mid-shin for him, and it looks so stupid.

DS is in a size smaller for shorts. I bought a bunch of 18-24m even though he'll be 2 in a couple weeks, b/c he has tiny hips. That seems to help.

SAM, he is in smaller sizes in everything, so I'm already there.

I haven't found any! Linc is 4% for weight and 16% for height. Actually pants slide right off of him too. He has one pair of jeans that fit him well and they are a size 3-6.

So maybe try buying smaller size/age? I have to go and buy some for our trip to Mexico next month and that is what I was thinking of doing b/c all the 6-12 we have are ridiculously big.

Boys' shirt tend to be longer anyway, and by the time summer rolls around they won't look too bad. I think most of DS' shorts are below the knee right now.

Have you tried ON? They were having a sale not too long ago.

I'm praying that someday it warms up enough here for shorts. I already know this will be a problem for us though. Jack has short legs and a big belly. Most shorts look like capris on him.

For some reason they make shorts super-huge. It's always been an issue for Gavin and he's TALL. He's just really skinny in the waist so he can't hold them up. It's a little better this year but the last 2 summers it was ridiculous.

This is our problem. The boys are really stocky and have short legs. 2t fits everywhere but the legs. Most of their shorts look like short pants. I have found some shorter ones at the Gap. Gymboree seems very long and thin.

Lol yeah, I was more asking for boys who can stand. I didn't care last year how long they were because he was just curled up anyway :-P

I almost always have to roll his pants, so I really should have seen this coming.

I was in ON yesterday and they looked super long so I didn't bother.

The other thing that poses a problem is that we can't go too much smaller or they don't fit well over his diapers. I did have him in 3-6 shorts the other day (that I thought we would never get any use out of) and they were good in length but a bit snug on the bum haha.

Jumping Beans shorts from Kohl's run pretty short. DS has short legs and they work great for us

These run shorter than most of DS's shorts. Almost a little too short when he's sitting down.

I actually liked that they where longer...it helped make crawling on the bare wood floors and around/on top of toys more comfortable for them and decrease the skinned knees when they where just walking and running around outside.

That is what DS wears and they fit great over his BG diapers. He is about 10% for wt and 15% for ht.
