Is this normal? (breastfeeding ?)

When I nurse DS (especially at night) I have been noticing milk coming out of his nose while he eats. I just always assumed he was a sloppy eater, I had no idea it was coming out of his nose this whole time. (I nurse in the dark at night).

Is this normal? I don't remember Izzy doing this.

I never had that happen with DS...it only happens when he's kind of choking on something, like if his sippy cup is too fast for him.

I've had Braylon spit up, and it come out of his nose but not while he's drinking.

hmm . . . i never had that happen, even though i had an oversupply initially so i think the milk was flowing pretty fast. i'd let your pedi know about this just to be on the safe side, to make sure he doesn't have any structural abnormality making milk move more easily from mouth to nose.
