If you would like to help out the recent Alabama storm victims, here
is one way you can: There will be a semi-truck in the Home Depot
parking lot off Windward Parkway (west of 400) tomorrow (Tuesday, May
3rd) morning from 9:30AM until it's full. SO, if you have stuff &
can get it over there in the AM that would be great!! Here are the most desperately needed supplies:
blankets, tarps, baby formula, diapers, water, sunscreen, soap, hand
sanitizer, new underwear and socks, gently used clothing, canned food,
shoes, first-aid supplies, feminine hygiene products, clothing in XL,
2XL and 3XL sizes and shoes. And more water - many areas have none or
pressure is extremely low.
thank you so much for sharing this! I posted on my FB and I just got back from dropping off a bunch of stuff. The back of the 4Runner was loaded up :-) I love being able to actually do something instead of just writing a check.
All the Whole Foods are collecting items too. You can drop it off at customer service They pretty much need everything. This will be dispersed to Alabama and Chattanooga
