Engagement: Winter, Eve, (St.) Nick (engaged on Christmas eve)
Role model/hero: Waldo (ha!) or Emerson (Ralph Waldo Emerson), Concord (for all the writers of early American literature)
Engagement (Ballard Locks during Christmas Ships): Hiram, Chittenden, Christmas, Locks, Ships
Role model/hero: ?? (I honestly don't know who I would say is a role model/hero. Guess I need to think about that one.)

Married 10/5/08 | 2 yrs of TTC, tests, procedures & a m/c | IVF #2 =James!
Engagement: Ummmmm....the poor kids name would be "Barracks" or something tragic like that so we won't ever go there! (We were in my husband's room in the barracks when he proposed).
Hero: I actually like the idea of naming a boy Elias (after Walter Elias Disney), but DH would probably say no because he would end up with Eli as a nickname.
Engagement: Montana or Glacier
Hero: No one comes immediately to mind...
Engagement: (Red Sox Spring training, Fort Meyers, FL) Boy: Nomar, Meyer, Varitek, Papi, Ortiz.
Girl: Sanibel, Mia (Mia Hamm was there), Florida, Naples.
Role model/hero: Martin, Luther, Dali, Ghandi, Budha, Salvidor, Renee, Magritte, VanGogh, Picasso.
The only Easter Bunny I can get behind.

Hero: DH would pick Ghandi or Mandela or something like that.
Engagement: I can't even answer this. We were lying in bed talking after sex and said "hey, we should get married." I should probably make something up to tell Charlie & Co. when they ask.
Hero: Dean, Smith, Smitha (Dean Smith), Lennon (John Lennon- if we have a DS his name will be John, but after my dad)
Engagement: Maui (which is the cat), Kaanapali, Hawaii. I actually like some Hawaiian names; for the purposes of this poll, too bad we didn't get engaged in Makena.
Hero: Lane. As in Lois. It's actually on my middle-name list for a girl.
Engagement - I have no clue, our engagement itself was pretty low-key and just at our apartment. We got engaged in college, so maybe James or Madison or Duke (for James Madison University.)
Hero - Franklin (Roosevelt)
