Just curious...are you in the crib yet?

I had serious intentions to start at least moving her RnP to her room last weekend and the move to the crib in 1-2 more weeks. We did it Saturday night, but then I was selfish and wanted her back. Now I've talked myself into one more month in our room. I know, it's crazy, but I just like having her there in the room by me.

Nope, and we won't be for another few months (I hope). I like having her right beside me. She's outgrowing her bassinet quickly though.

DS is exclusively napping in the crib now, and after he wakes up for the first time at night (which usually isn't until 5 am or so), we put him in the crib until he really wakes up for the day which is usually 9ish. So...we are working on it, but I don't know if I'm totally ready for him to be in there. I like having him sleeping next to me.

DS was moved when he was 9 weeks roughly.

MH and I were ready to have our bedroom back to ourselves plus we kept waking him up when we went to bed. I miss having him so close but he sleeps a lot better now.

We haven't made the move to the crib yet - but she has been in her own room since about 7 1/2 weeks. She is in the RnP in her room for naps & nighttime.

I'm dreading the transition to the crib - she HATES sleeping on flat surfaces...the bassinet never worked, the PnP never worked and she won't do the crib either. I figure I've maybe got another month and then I'll have to move her.

Nope our LO hasnt used his crib once yet. Neither me or my husband are comfortable having him sleep in his own room yet.

heck yes she's in her cirb already! has been for 3 wks. i can't sleep with her in the room with me, every little wheeze and sigh she makes has me wide awake and on edge. we are all much better off with her in her own crib. and, she's outgrown our cradle.

and, dh and i wouldn't have had the wild night we did last night if she was in there.

Nope and she probably wont be for awhile. She actually seems to really like her crib and would probably do fine in it but I like her in our room. If I had my way she would bed share instead of her co-sleeper.

DS has been in his crib in his room since he was 3 weeks old. It was better for all of us and we were so worried about all his noises and our cats jumping on him that we just weren't sleeping well. Last week we started napping him in the crib, so far so good.

We've been using a crib since he was born. Now he has spent MANY a nights in his swing, and in the bassinet in our bedroom, but now it's strictly all crib.

Nope, I enjoy him in the PNP next to me. We plan on moving him into his room around 6 mnths.

LO has been in the crib since we brought him home. He didn't like the PnP and we never bought a bassinet so we really had no choice. He does well, so we're lucky I guess!

Yes and it's been a fabulous transition for all of us- LO, DH, me, & the dogs. DS is now sleeping longer stretches at night than he's ever slept before- coincidence? I think not! Life is good as far as that's concerned.

LO initially goes to bed in her crib (after I rock her to sleep - she will not fall asleep in there if I put her down 'drowsy but awake'). She will stay there for a few hours but usually ends up joining me in my bed at some point during the night...she is not STTN in there yet...but she is staying in there for longer and longer stretches of time

LO finally took to her crib about three weeks ago (so around 10 weeks old). We wanted to have her in there from the beginning but she wasn't having it, so we adjusted. She was in her PNP bassinet for a few weeks, and then the RNP. Finally she is in the crib. I am so glad she is in there now. She has made so much progress falling asleep on her own since she transitioned. I thought I was in trouble last night, I laid her down around 9:45, wide eyed (but I know she was tired), and she fell asleep on her own within 10 minutes, no crying. She also sleeps in there now from between 8:30 and 9:30 til around 3:30. She wakes up for a feeding and goes right back down. She then wakes up around 6 or 6:30 for another feeding, and will sometimes even go back to sleep for another couple of hours right after that.

Mj has been sleeping in his crib since his 1st night home. He's been doing great except he will not nap in it.

Yup, she has been in there since she came home from the hospital. There has only been a handful of nights we had to spend in the pnp and/or swing and me on the couch. Otherwise she is in her crib.

K has been in his crib for a month now, but his crib is in my room still.

He still naps a lot in his swing though.

We moved him at 6 weeks. I'm glad we did, I thought it would easier the younger he was and we're now both sleeping better. But I don't think there is anything wrong with keeping them in your room if that's what you're more comfortable with. You need to do what works best for you.

We had her sleep in a bassinet, in her room, for the first week. she was sleeping through the night so I was worried about moving her to the crib, but she continued to sleep like a champ. Since we moved her she's never spent a night anywhere other than her crib. We had trouble getting her to nap in there at first but now she takes all her naps in the crib.

My DD is still in our room. She's transitioned from her bassinet to the PNP because she got too big. She will take naps in the crib during the day but the weather here still isn't warm enough to move her at night. (Her room gets super cold at night). Also, I'm not ready yet, lol! I love having her right beside the bed at night and to be honest I'm not a morning person at all so the thought of having to get up at 5 am and walking across the house to change and feed her is not appealing. I am looking forward to having my bedroom back for just DH and me though.

This for us too. It's getting a little tricky because she's starting to go to sleep earlier (like 8 pm some nights), and she won't go to sleep until I'm in bed with her. So, I've had some early nights! But I like being able to snuggle her all night long. And usually DH and I will take some wine and just hang out and watch TV in bed after she goes to sleep in between us. I know we have to move her soon, before she realizes how good she has it. But not quite yet!!!
