Jocelyn did not want to go to bed tonight. All of the usual tricks failed to get her to go to sleep quietly so we just let her whine in her room. Chris finally went in to settle her down and she wanted to wear her crown (she's princess obsessed after all the royal wedding business). That worked for 30 seconds and then the whining started back up. We waited a while longer and then I went in. I didn't turn on the lights but walked over to the side of her bed. I see her reach out to me so I stick my hands out. She proceeds to hand me her soggy diaper and says "oops". Real nice. Maybe we need to get more serious about potty training...
Re: Nice.
potty training - ugh. my mom keeps telling me how i was potty trained by now, in comparison to audrey. while i do think she shows some signs, i also think she's not completely interested. for example: if she has a dirty diaper she'll tell you she doesn't want to sit in it, but she's fine standing/running around in it.
but i bought some m and m's and come june 8th, we'll be hitting it hard. i really want her potty trained by the arrival of LO # 2!
