tiniest bit of blood...(maybe TMI)

today I noticed when I wiped, there was the slightest little tiny clot of blood - red blood, about the size of a sesame seed or two... followed by a little bit of pinky mucous.

I called the OB and the nurse said it sounds like the start of my mucous plug, and because I haven't had any bleeding since (4 hours), or cramps/contractions, or loss of fluid, that it's nothing...

Anyone else have something like this happen?

I had the same thing happen last week. I went in for an internal with the nurse practitioner who said it was most likely brought on by intercourse.

Yep, starting at 34 wks, and my mw told me the same thing. I've been losing pieces here and there since then.

No but my dr told me spotting the last 6 weeks or so is completely normal.

Seriously! ack! I knew it would have to come out eventually, but I didn't think it could start that early! lol
Sorry, I'm just now coming to grips with the fact that the end is near....
