we are in a total rut. luckily, i have two kids that will eat anything and everything but i just cant think of what to feed them! i normally leave leftovers from dinner the night before but i havent been cooking as much lately and am tired of having the nanny give them frozen stuff from the freezer.
so - any great ideas for things to serve for lunch? thank you!
Re: what do you feed your kids for lunch?
we do:
sandwiches
roll-ups (flate bread of tortilla) with cream cheese and fruit or meat and cheese
flate bread pizza with veggies
all dipdip (sliced veggies and spiced yoghurt for dipping)
salad (my kid loves him some lettuce)
mini burgers, hot dogs
left overs
noodles and cheese/veggies/whatever
These are our regular lunches:
Turkey, cream cheese and cranberry sauce sandwich
Bean and cheese quesadilla with avocado
Garden burger
Grilled cheese
PB & J
Snack lunch (crackers with slices of cheese, turkey, fruit)
English muffin pizza
Turkey roll-up (wheat tortilla spread w/cream cheese or hummus and layered with turkey and avocado; roll-up and slice like sushi)
Sandwiches
fruit
cheese
yogurt
quesadillas
That is really about it. Not much variety in our breakfast /lunch routine.

DS loves:
turkey lunch meat, mozzarella string cheese, carrots and ranch, salads with balsalmic dressing and carrots, pizza with ranch, pb& j sandwiches and he loves pickles too.
We do tooth pick foods too. My mom used to call it "teriyaki ______" for whatever it was, DS is tickled with this idea.
