I am only 5'2 and have a short torso. I am only 15 weeks and holy crap bending is pretty much done for me! My lower tummy is so hard and tight that just getting in and out of my car actually hurts. Putting my pants on, ya forget it!! Has anyone else had this happen and did it get any better?
Please tell me it did because I am trying to prepare myself for the months of bigness ahead!! ![]()

Re: Short, small torso gals.....
This, only I'm 5ft. total. Luckily my torso is a little longer and my legs are shorter. I'm at 25 weeks and bending is not fun at this point. Hang in there.
Sounds like we're about the same build.
When we first found out I was pregnant, my husband looked at me and said, "You're gonna be huge! There's no where for this kid to go, but out!" Sure enough, I'm 19 weeks today, and I'm already getting the, "Are you sure it's only one in there?!?". I haven't been able to button my pants since around 9 or 10 weeks.
There is an up side though. The super bloated, I-look-like-i-just-ate-a-huge-meal stage doesn't last nearly as long. Plus, I'm kind of liking looking obviously pregnant. It's like a happy reminder. Plus, it means you get to switch to maternity clothes sooner. After switching, I might never go back. Sooooo comfy.
I'm 5'2'' also and just noticed earlier this week that it's getting more difficult to bend over. I was trying to bring my right foot to my face to see how far I could get it and I couldn't. My DH was kinda laughing cuz I'm not as bendy as I used to be
I'm also wondering how I'll be able to get in and out of my car as I get bigger. My car is really low and I'm having to really brace myself to pull myself out and I consider myself a pretty fit person.

I'm dealing with the same problem... My belly is also super round now as well as hard. Bending over is impossible and actually hurts my bellybutton (so weird). Trying to get out of bed and off the couch is starting to become a struggle, I can still manage to do it by myself, it just takes me a bit longer. Can't wait for my belly to double in size, I'm gonna be a super awesome beach ball that needs help getting up from everywhere!
I am only 5'2" and I am doing okay so far. I remember feeling that bending over was hard last time, but I don't remember when that happened. I guess at some point, I wasn't able to see over my bump and I didn't even attempt to bend over. I carried high, so my bump wouldn't touch my thighs. You will definitely grow out. Rolling out of bed will require using a leg swing for momentum and pushing up with your arm at the same time.

I am 5'2 and I am already getting the "are you sure there's only one baby in there"
The comments are worse from my family because my cousin is having triplets due in August and I already show more than she does (she got my family's tall genes).
It doesn't really bother me though because I now look pregnant and not just fat!
