Ugh Re: blood test

I went the the lab on Friday for the blood tests that my OB wanted me to do to tell if I am ovulating properly. He said call back 3-4 days. So I just called this morning, yes I realize today is just the 3rd day. I asked the nurse if the blood test results had been received. All she did was take my info and tell me someone will call me back in 48-72 hours. UMMM, really?!?! It takes that long for someone to look on my account and see if the results have been received? In this day of advanced technology it is going to take an additional 2-3 days to call me back and tell me that? Wow! For once I kinda wish I had Kaiser.

    It really pisses me off when Doc act like it's a state event to get results to you.  I've completely given up on even getting calls on results and I simply show up and ask for copies of stuff.  I also never fall for the bullshit excuse that they don't want to give you stuff without the doc talking to you.  A very simple "I realize that's their preference but legally you need to give me the copy now".

    I hope you get your info soon.
