The Twins Have a Name

In case you didn't see it this morning, Mariah Carey's twins have names now.

Morocco (the boy) and Monroe (the girl) Cannon.

Good grief.

  • So the boy will probably be called Rocco for short. That reminds me of that creepy cartoon on Nickelodeon, Rocco's Modern Life. Yuck!

  • Well I suppose Rocco is better than Morocco. That is just horrible.

  • Morocco.... hm. Maybe that's where he was conceived? My MIL joked once when we were in Guam if we conceived a grandchild, we should name him/her Tumon, the capitol/main city. At least, I hope she was joking.

  • I think Rocco can be cute, but not Morocco (although I'm biased because Rocco is a familly name for me).

I heard it was Moroccan (although I hope I heard wrong), and she named him that because her favorite room in her house has a Moroccan theme. (Gross) As for Monroe, not a girl's name IMO.
