Does it detect movement? Or breathing? I'm confused. Also, have you had a lot of trouble with false alarms?
I'm thinking about getting one for DD. She's rolling now, and now prefers to sleep on her tummy. I can't stop her. I even have a sleep positioner/wedge that I borrowed from my SIL, and she can still turn all the way over onto her tummy. I'm fine with that and all, but she if pretty much face first into the mattress sometimes, and that scares me. Usually it's just on her side, but she also goes all the way over onto her tummy. I mean, she has great head control, and I know that she can move her head if needed, and I can tell that her nose isn't completely covered, but it still makes me nervous.
Re: Tell me about your Angelcare Monitor
We have one. The only advice I have is that you don't purchase one now, since your LO is already rolling.
Take out the sleep positioner, makes sure your crib is a safe environment to sleep in, and don't worry so much. I don't think the Angelcare is as useful once babies start to move around a lot.
I have one and have used it for naps and nightime since day one, we've only had 1 false alarm and I'm not even sure it was a false one (I placed my finger under DS's nose and couldn't feel him breathing so I shaked him a little, he moved and the alarm went off)
I really like having it, it gives me peaceof mind
This. Especially the part about the sleep positioner coming out now that she can roll. For added peace of mind, buy a video monitor. I have a cheaper Summer Infant one and I can even see him breathing with it. Worth every penny.

Take out the sleep positioner. I'd be more worried about her rolling WITH that in the crib. I never put anything in my kid's cribs other than the mattress, mattress sheet and the baby. Your LO will be fine. Like pp said, if you're going to spend the money, spend it on a video monitor. The angelcare monitor is a waste.
Thanks. I'll look for a video monitor instead.
This is the sleep positioner I'm using. Nothing else is in her bed (well, except her Seahorse, but it's all the way at the other end of the bed).
I would still ABSOLUTELY take the sleep positioner out. It clearly says it's for back and side sleeping. Your LO wants to sleep on her stomach. It's safer for her to be on her stomach against a hard, flat mattress than against a sleep positioner.
