Hey guess what? I had a baby!

DS born April 11.  9lb 10oz.  Yes, he is almost a month old and I am just getting around to posting but you ladies know how it is.  Had a planned CS but ended up staying a full week b/c he was jaundice and had a heart murmur they wanted to check out.  Everything turned out fine.

DD who is almost 3 was driving me absolutely nuts the first two weeks but I think we settled into a good rhythm now.  Not sure yet if none to one is harder or one to two is harder.  All I know if she gets to watch WAY too much tv all of the sudden and I don't even care.  I just let her watch the same episode of Super Why that she watched two hours ago.

Nothing prolongs the baby blues like rain, rain, rain, and more rain.  Seriously, I was pretty certain I had the full blown post partum depression but this week it seems to have lifted which is a relief. 

The good news is he is super cute!

    Congratulations! I know it's rough at first, but just like with the first one, things DO get easier. A little extra TV for DD isn't going to hurt while everyone adjusts.

    Congratulations! Let me know the things that made it easier with the 3 year old. My DD is super excited about being a big sister so I'm hoping I won't have jealousy issues!

    Congrats again Megan!  Caleb watched a lot more TV in the beginning too.  You have to do what you have to do.  Now those first 2 months seem like a blurr!  Let me know if you need anything.

    Congrats!

    Going from 1->2 is definitely more difficult than going from 0->1. Do you have a lot of help? If not, don't be afraid to ask for (heck, DEMAND) it.
