  • Hugs to everyone, because I think we could all use one for one reason or another.  Best of luck to all in the 2ww, currently on stims, and those in the waiting game.

Update: 4dp5dt for IVF #3.  Beta is next Tues 5/10 at 10dp5dt.  I may cave a POAS before then.

QOTW:  Dh and I haven't been to a movie in the theater in forever.... planning to see Hangover Part 2 when it comes out.  While I was on bedrest after ET, I got "How Do You Know" from Netflix.  I enjoyed it, but I love chick flicks and Reese Witherspoon, so that is no surprise.

  • Thanks for the hugs, and hugs back. I did need it!

Update: 5dp3dt. Beta isn't until next Friday, so I'm testing on Tuesday at 11dp3dt.

QOTW: The last movie I saw was Due Date. I thought it was OK, but it wasn't as good as I expected. It was one of those movies I was glad to have something to pay attention to on bed rest, but I'm glad I didn't pay theater prices for it.

  • Not too much to update on. We signed all the papers and we are just waiting for AF so we can start. Looks like mid May we will be starting.

QOTW: Tell me about the last movie you saw. Was it good? Should I see it too?? Sigh.... Is it sad or what that I don't remember the last movie we saw. I am however looking forward to seeing the Hangover 2.

Illinigal, this is for you *o/*

    Good luck everybody in 2ww!
Update : second follie check = 13 count, but really only 10 good size. That is good because last time u had 10ish follies and only 6 eggs. One more check tomorrow. ER Saturday or Sunday. Eeek!
I'm in a lot of pain, migraine, legs hurt, body aches, nauseous. I hope it doesn't stop for 9 months. Wink

Last weekend I saw The Expendables, good action movie. Nothing great but enough to spend a couple of hours with popcorn, the husband and brother. They made me watch it.

Good luck ladies!  Especially those of you in the 2ww and currently cycling!  I want to send some extra special vibes to my gal illinigal!  Praying that third times the charm!

Update:  Not much here.  Still on estrace and Lovenox waiting for May 12 to start Lupron.  I am scheduled for a blood draw tomorrow for immune testing with a reproductive immunologist.  I'm excited and nervous and hoping that the results are received in time to help with this cycle.

QOTW:  Its been a while since I have seen a movie in the theater.  I can't remember which of the last few movies I saw in the theater was the most recent.  The last movie I have seen outside of the theater was The Fighter.  MH and I watched it last night.  It was good, but I expect many ladies have already seen it since it isn't a newer movie.

  • Oh and my update is that I'm feeling better today!! I'm 6dp5dt and too freaked out to test. Maybe tomorrow at 7dp5dt.  I have a headache today, cramping has been off and on and I've had a bit of a bloody nose for 3 days (which could easily be contributed to the extreme weather change we've had).  Everything can be attributed to PIO.

And thanks for the hugs!! I've definitely needed them!  I have to admit this has been the hardest part of the whole cycle!

QOTW: The Fighter - it was GREAT!  Maybe I'm bias because it was filmed in my state and a true story about a 'local' guy/family...but I thought it was great.  As a side note, this was our first movie in a long, long time...we do netflix so we see all the big movies eventually and with an hdtv and surround sound...I actually think I like sitting at home watching a move better than the movie theater.

Hi ladies! Big hugs to those cycling or awaiting a future cycle. Fingers crossed for all of you. It is definitely weird to see my name in the success stories! Ahhh...

Update: Waiting for beta 2 results and hoping progesterone is going up. Hopefully I will be able to schedule the 1st u/s soon. Im dying over here! Im not fully ready to leave yet, so if you would like to keep me, i'd love to stick around.

QOTW: No idea...but we have plans to see The Hangover 2 and that new bridesmaid movie, maybe Something Blue? They both look decent.

Good luck to all you in the 2ww! We need more TTTC graduates! Hugs to those that need them. Update: I'm currently stimming and my ER is set for sometime early next week. I'm really nervous this time around and I hope I have some good quality embryos to actually have a transfer this time! QOTW: I'd have to say the last movie I saw was Life As We Know It with Katherine Heigle. It was cute but not on my favorites list.

Good luck, hon!  I was wondering where you were in this cycle!  I'm sending lots of positive T&Ps your way!  I'm really hoping 3rd times the charm all of us 3 timers.

Thanks love! I couldn't agree with you more!! Come on all us 3rd timers!!!

Thanks for the check in, Kathy!  Big hugs to those that need them and good luck to all the ladies cycling or in the 2ww.

Update:  I finally have an update!!!!  AF started today and I have my baseline u/s and b/w on Friday morning.  The nurse also told me that I have to get a pap done, so I'll probably schedule that while I'm there on Friday.  I'm excited to start this journey and finally know what we're going to do.

QOTW:  The last movie that I saw in the theaters?  Dear John for my birthday last year.  A shirtless Channing Tatum was a great birthday present!!!

  • I don't post too much here (or anywhere really) but I am always lurking and rooting for you ladies.

GL to all of you in the 2WW!  And ((hugs)) to those who need them.

My only update is that I am flying to Chicago later this month for surgery.  They will be removing the fibroid and sewing my surgery cervix shut from the inside.  The incision is not going to be huge but sizable and I will always have to have a c-section going forward if I ever get pregnant again.

I can't remember the last movie I saw but I am going to see Water for Elephants tomorrow!

  • Hi ladies!!  I haven't updated in awhile, after my failed IVF I took a bit of a break from posting. Then I started lurking again and posting a little and you know how that goes - lol.

If you could move me to the "waiting to start a future cycle" section that would be great!  We are looking at IVF #2 in the summer.  DH and I are just trying on our own this cycle (I hope to O any day) and then after AF arrives (which of course, I hope she doesn't) I will most likely start BCP's for a couple of weeks and then start stims in mid to late June.  I will be doing a different protocol this time, instead of the long lupron, my RE wants me to fo the micro-dose (flair) protocol.

I am really hoping a new protocol and being less stressed at work (as a school counselor, I am off 6 weeks in summer).  Hoping that things can be timed so ER and ET are right after I get off.  I work 10 days after the teachers are done, but those are pretty low key days and my schedule is much more flexible.

QOTW:  Hmm...the last movie we saw in the theater was our "movei day" over Christmas break.  DH and I always do one of those days where we go to see like 3 movies in a row.  We saw The King's Speech (awesome); How Do You Know (it was okay); and The Tourist (also just okay, but great scenes of Venice).  DH would like to go to a lot more movies than we do, he would go every week if it were up to him.  I like movies, but we usually rent them.

  • I don't remember if I posted this last week or not...our consult/baseline u/s is Monday. DH thinks this iS going to be it because our appt is the day after mother's day. Qotw: we just saw dinner for schmucks from Netflix. It was pm, kind of made me feel bad for the Steve carrell character though.

  • Hi all!  I'd like to be added to the Waiting for a Future Cycle list.  We will be starting in June, provided we get the last couple pieces of blood work done during this cycle.

I saw Water for Elephants on Sunday and liked it.  However, I had read the book and loved it.  I kept thinking to myself, "Would I like this movie so much if I hadn't read the book?"
